Sustainability is built into the way we operate—shaping how we source, manufacture, and partner to create long-term value for people and the planet.

Across our facilities, we pursue sustainable practices through ongoing improvements in packaging design, manufacturing processes, and waste management. Our newest site, Probiotec Multipack in Kemps Creek, NSW, holds a 6-star environmental rating and is the first building in Australia to be awarded with the NABERS Embodied Carbon rating, setting a new benchmark for sustainability in pharmaceutical and FMCG packaging.

We adhere to Sustainable Packaging Guidelines to minimise environmental impact and maintain multiple recycling collection points within our sites to reduce landfill waste—promoting the responsible reuse and recycling of materials such as cardboard, paper, and plastics.

We foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace where diversity is celebrated, and every team member is valued and heard. Probiotec complies with Australia’s Modern Slavery Act, supported by a published Modern Slavery Statement, outlining our commitment to protecting human rights and ethical labour practices across all operations. We also take pride in providing stable, long-term employment that contributes to local growth and wellbeing.

We partner with suppliers who share our values of quality, ethics, and transparency. Probiotec maintains Sedex certification, reinforcing our adherence to responsible sourcing, fair working conditions, and continuous improvement in supply chain practices. Through these commitments, we ensure that sustainability and integrity extend beyond our facilities to every link in our supply network.
